Ted: You had this ridiculous idea that the moment leading up to the kiss…
Victoria: The drum roll.
Ted: …is as good as the kiss itself.

Well, it’s certainly more innocent.
Victoria: It’s completely harmless.

that moment right before the kiss is almost as good as the kiss itself. That second when you feel your heart flutter and the warmth of their face getting near yours.
